This program is designed for parents and children using digital photography and story telling to foster communication and socialization skills in an exhilarating, creative environment. Projects will encompass the use of digital photography including collage presentations, photo sessions, and biography book development as well as video projects. Required supplies include a digital camera and memory stick. The opportunity to purchase a bound copy of the biography book is also available. Taught by Lynette Carte.

Bring your children ages 4 and 5 for an afternoon of art exploration. You will participate with your child in art activities under the guidance of art instructor Diana Holcombe. It’s a great way to introduce your child to the world of art. |

Are you a classical singer? Do you want to open on Broadway? Whatever your vocal discipline, you will learn the geography of the stage, how to move and maybe even some new singing techniques. Come learn how to command the stage.

Students in this class will develop singing skills, learn songs with harmony parts, and develop proper breathing technique. This is a great opportunity for beginning voice students to learn with one another in a group setting. Also, students will get the opportunity
to perform in the Center’s recitals throughout the year.

Cost: $40 plus materials Let’s make jewelry! Your friends will never believe your beautiful necklace, earrings and bracelets are made of clay. Learn how to form basic beads, cane beads and more to create very stylish jewelry. This class will make great gifts for Christmas. |

Have you always wanted to learn how to draw? Even if you can’t draw a stick figure, come and learn the basic drawing skills, perspective, shading, and techniques so you can create your own masterpieces. Seniors will also enjoy this class. It’s time to try something you always wanted to do.

Come and enjoy learning the rhythm and technique of hand-drumming while learning to perform in a group setting. The group, taught by William Cashdollar, will learn independent parts and to play in a round, while experiencing the excitement of an authentic drum circle. Hand drums will be needed (Bongos, Congas, Djembe, etc.), which can be purchased with a discount at the time of enrollment.
