Monthly Art Show

The Center of Music and Art is pleased to announce four new artists taking part in the monthly art show. The center is showcasing artwork from local artists each month, and is making the artwork available for purchase. Frank S. Aleksiejczyk is an aspiring fashion designer and 2010 graduate of Indian Creek High School. His paintings utilize a variety of mediums including pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and pastel. Artist David Corona uses a unique technique incorporating spray paint and newspaper with no brushes to create his paintings. Judy Call is an amateur oil and watercolor artist who has been painting a variety of subjects for over 10 years. She has studied with a variety of artists including Joy Wilson and Margaret Muhleman. Robert Edmonston is a self-made artist specializing in scenic artwork. He has been painting as a hobby for over 60 years, starting with watercolors before moving on to acrylics. The current show will run through August 28th and is open to the public for free viewing during regular business hours. Local artists interested in showcasing their work in future shows may contact the center at 740-264-3111. For more information visit the website www.musicandart.com.
